Description of the ppmD3 method

Multi order character PPM text compression, by Alistair Moffat, alistair@cs.mu.oz.au, written around 1993. Uses 16 Mbyte memory. ppm5 uses max order of 5 (-o5); ppm7 uses max order of 7 (-o7). The results that were labeled ppm used -o3. Escape method D is used.

The PPM method was originally developed John Cleary and Ian Witten.
