Description of the bzip2-6 method
This is an improved version of bzip: bzip2, a block-sorting file compressor. Version 0.1pl2, 29-Aug-97. Code and documentation is readily available. Three different tests are reported, with different block sizes: bzip2-1 uses 100k, bzip2-6 uses 600k, and bzip2-9 uses 900k. |
